Irving Heritage Society – Founded in 1978, the Irving Heritage Society began as an outgrowth of the American Bicentennial Commission. The society was established to support a renewed interest in history, especially local history, and to maintain and preserve the Heritage House. Some of the ongoing society activities include co-sponsoring the former Irving Heritage Festival, hosting Washington Irving birthday events and vintage-style shows, as well as marking historical sites and Irving landmarks.

MainStage Irving-Las Colinas (MILC) – The MainStage Irving-Las Colinas is committed to improving the quality of life for its citizens by providing quality and affordable theatre to the Irving community. As an all-volunteer organization, MILC offers opportunities for involvement by the community in all areas of theatrical production through open auditions, mentoring, special project support, and formal classes.
